What this policy covers. This policy applies only to the sign-up form used to request the Contractor Bid Comparison Checklist from the Hillstar Construction blog. Our main website, including the estimate request form, is covered by the separate Hillstar Construction Privacy Policy, which this policy does not change.
Two things, and nothing else:
We do not ask for your phone number, your home address, your project type, your budget or your timeline on this form. We do not collect any of it automatically either.
To send you the Contractor Bid Comparison Checklist that you asked for. That is the only purpose.
We do not add you to a marketing list. Asking for the checklist does not sign you up for a newsletter, a follow-up sequence, or a sales call. If we ever want to email you about anything else, we will ask you first.
Google LLC. Hillstar Construction uses Google Workspace for business email. Your name and email address pass through and are stored in Google's systems so that the message can be sent and so we have a record of having sent it. Google processes it as our email provider.
Nobody else. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, we do not trade it, and we do not share it with any other company for their own marketing.
We keep your name and email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. When you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of your email address for the sole purpose of making sure we do not email you again.
Email jarvis@hillstarla.com and ask. You can ask us to tell you what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop emailing you. There is no charge and we will not ask you for anything beyond your email address to act on the request.
Every email we send you also carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the email and requires no explanation.
We do not track you across other websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. This sign-up page uses no advertising pixels, no analytics profiling of you as an individual, and no cross-site tracking cookies. Because we do not collect personal information about your activity over time or across third-party sites, we do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

This form is meant for homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their email address, email us and we will delete it.
If you live in California you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it, using the contact address above. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
If we make a material change to this policy, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date at the top. Where the change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email you about it before the change takes effect.
